From Lillian Margaret Barrow, Keller family reasearcher (For the Stephens/Davis Family):

"10. Catharine Keller, m. Jacob Bruckhart (Bruckhard, Brookhart), eldest son of (John) Michael Bruckhard of Hellam Twp., York Co., Pa. They were married about 1777...They had a tavern, 'The Sign of the Fish,' in 1805 and perhaps other years. This was in the Beargrass Creek area. Later Catharine (Caty) bought land in the Floyd's Fork area. She left a will in Jefferson Co., Ky. It was written June 17, 1828, proved June 7, 1831. A better record of her children is found in West Virginia in Hampshire Co., Deed Book No. 22, pages 117 & 122, when son David Brookhart with power of attorney from the other heirs of Jacob Brookhart, sold property in Frankfort, Hampshire Co., Va., to John Flood, Dec. 2, 1819. Records concerning the estates of Jacob and Catharine (Keller) Brookhart are in Jefferson Co., Ky. Inventory and Settlement Book No. 2, pp. 340-344; Book No. 8, pp. 360-362, 365, and pp. 532-533."
