Mrs. Farmer of Mooresville dies

Mrs. Carrie B. Farmer of 220 South Madison Street died at her home in Mooresville Friday.

She was born Aug. 23, 1874, in the White Lick Neighborhood, the daughter of Pierce and Mary Martin McNeff. She was married to George Farmer, who died in 1931. Mrs. Farmer had lived in Mooresville for 34 years and was a member of the Mooresville Methodist Church.

Survivors are a son Paul of Mooresville; two grandchildren, Bob Farmer of Mooresville, and Mrs. Helen Hoyt of Greenfield, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Carlisle and Son Chapel with burial in the Mooresville Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Endsley will be in charge of the service.

Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
