Carrie attended school in 1918 at TX to 10th grade per death certificate. Description:Funeral Services by Community Funeral Home, Vernon, TX Traci has death certificate. Sun Sept 13, 1992 Vernon Newspaper. "Carrie Luedtke to be honored on 90th birthday. Mrs. Carrie Luedtke of 1106 Ross Street will be honored by her children and their families in celebration of her 90th birthday from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, Sept 13, in the Forum Room of Wilbarger Auditorium. 

    Born Sept 12, 1902 in Chatfield, Mrs. Luedtke is the only surviving child of the late William and Mollie Henderson.
    Married in June 1919 to Wallace Overby in Electra, the couple had five children; Cecil Overby of Midland, Jerry Overby Castleberry of Vernon, the late Dean Overby, Floy Overby Waythe, and Theodore Overby.
    She later moved to Wilbarger County and married Tom J Lewis in 1934. The couple had two children, June Lewis Young of Vernon and Bob Lewis of Angel Fire, NM. Mr Lewis proceeded her in death in 1947. In 1948, she married the late George Luedtke of the Northside Community. He died in 1963.
    Mrs. Luedtke has 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
    All friends of Mrs. Luedtke are invited to the birthday celebration.
