Mar 3, 1785 from John Thomas Jr of CC, planter, to Caleb Thomas of CC, planter, for 7000 lbs of crop tobacco, .all that part or parcel of land in CC, being part of a tract of land called New Podda, and bounded by a tract of land called Bullington, then to Samways' Branch, containing about 60 acres. Signed - John Thomas Jr. Wit - John Morton, Bonn' Dyson (CC JPs). Ann, wife of the above sd John Thomas Jr, relinquished her right of dower to the lands within mentioned. Recorded Apr 3, 1786.

• Charles County Land Records 1786-1790; Liber D#4; Page 9, Nov 7, 1786 from John Thomas Sr of CC, planter, to Caleb Thomas of CC, for 3000 lbs of crop tobacco, a tract of land in CC called the Bowling Green, bounded by the south side of the Levels Nest Branch, and near the head thereof, containing about 200 acres. Oct 20, 1790 from Joshua Naylor, planter, and George Naylor, both of Prince Georges County, to Caleb Thomas of CC, planter, for 25 £ 5 shillings, all that part of a tract of land called Stainland Enlarged, lying in CC, and bounded by the 4th line of Bowling Green, the 2nd vacancy added to the original tract of Stainland, containing about 25-1/4 acres. Oct 20, 1790 from George Naylor of Prince Georges County, to Joshua Naylor of the same county, for 25 £, all that part of a tract of land called Stain Land Enlarged, lying in CC, which was not this day conveyed to Caleb Thomas. Feb 12, 1794 from William Wilson Thomas of CC, planter, to Caleb Thomas of CC, planter, for 70 £ all that tract of land in CC called Bridgewater, bounded by a white oak near the head of Devils nest branch, land called Bowling Green taken up by John Thomas, containing about 70 acres. Signed - William W. Thomas. Wit - John Smith Brookes, Rindo (Rinaldo) Johnson (Prince Georges County JPs). This deed was acknowledged in Prince Georges County by William Willson Thomas and Eliz Thomas, his wife. Certified by Jno R. Magruder Jr, Clk Prince Georges County Court. Recorded May 3, 1794.
