Mar 3, 1785 from John Thomas Jr of CC, planter, to Caleb Thomas of CC, planter, for 7000 lbs of crop tobacco, .all that part or parcel of land in CC, being part of a tract of land called New Podda, and bounded by a tract of land called Bullington, then to Samways' Branch, containing about 60 acres. Signed - John Thomas Jr. Wit - John Morton, Bonn' Dyson (CC JPs). Ann, wife of the above sd John Thomas Jr, relinquished her right of dower to the lands within mentioned. Recorded Apr 3, 1786.
