   47 CALEB PECKHAM4 (Phillip3, Thomas2, John1) was born 1711, Jan. 10; died 1766, Jan 8; married 1732, Dec. 16, Mary Spooner of New Bedford, Mass. They lived in Newport, R.I., where he was engaged in the stone mason's trade. He was administrator of the estate of his brother Thomas in Connecticut. Mary and Caleb were admitted members of the Second Baptist Church at Newport in 1741, April 26 (Records of the Second Baptist Church, Newport, R.I.).
   
   Mary Spooner was also a Peckham descendant. She was the granddaughter of Rebecca2 Peckham (John1), and the daughter of John3 Spooner (John2, William and Elizabeth Partridge).
