The Dallas Morning News 8 Feb 1960 Buford Jett Staff Special to The News RYLIE, Texas-Buford Jett, 89, for 74 years a resident of Rylie died Sunday morning at his home.

A native of Kentucky, he had farmed in the Rylie area for many years. He also served as road supervisor for Dallas County District No. 3, retiring from the job about 10 years ago.

Survivors are a son, Barney Jett of Rylie; three daughters, Mr. E. B. Range of Mesquite, Mrs. C. C. Jobson of Merdian, Bosque County; and Mrs. C. J. Murphrey of Seagoville; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Chapel in Mesquite with the Rev. Arthur Osborne officating. Buril will be in Rylie Cemetery.
