"Knights Templar Easter Service. The McKinney Knight Templar Masons went to Denison Sunday afternoon where they held joint Easter services with the Denison Knights Templar..... B. C. COOK was motorman and W. V. LOVELADY was conductor on the interurban that carried [them] to Denison. Sir Knights attending from McKinney were: J. C. SEARS, Bill HERNDON, A. C. ROGERS, W. L. BROWN, J. B.C Cook Dies in Dallas Hospital Friday
B.C. Cook, 62 years of age, passed away Friday morning, June 9 at 7 o'clock in St. Paul's Hospital, Dallas, after a month's illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the chapel of the Massie Funeral Home. Rev. Lenton Poss of Plano will conduct the srvice with burial following in the Pecan Grove cemetery.
Mr. Cook was born in Cromwell, Kentucky, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.C. [typo, should be W.C.] Cook. He had been a resident of McKinney and Collin County for forty-eight years. For forty-two years he was an employee of the Texas Electric Railway company, retiring when the company ceased operation in January 1949. Mr Cook ran the last interurban over the road at the time. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bettie Cook and two daughters, Miss Christine Cook of Dallas and Mrs. W.S. Griffin of Plano. Two brothers and a sister also survive.
