    Lamar - Bessie P McClure, 90, Lamar, died at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday at the Barton County Memorial Hospital after three years of ill health.

    Mrs. McClure was born December 25, 1892, at Milford. She had lived in Barton County all of her life. She was a member of the Lamar First Baptist Church, Rebekah Lodge, Rebekah Circle and Merry Matrons Quilting Club. She married Ed M. McClure on July 27, 1912, at Lamar. He died January 15, 1960.

    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Caruthers, Lamar, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Roller officiated.

    Paul Benter, soloist, accompanied on the organ by Betty Lee Roe, sang "Good Night and Good Morning" and "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow."

    Pallbearers were John Moore, Bob Perry, David Roberts, Jim O'Neal, Bill Thompson and Leonard Dalton.

    Burial was in Lake Cemetery.
