Bessie was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for the plumbing business. She was a fantastic baker as wel who learned from her parents who owned Grossman's Bakery in Hudson, NY until 1950. A very strong willed individual who tried to control family decisions. This is the reason my mother, Grete Mihlsten, left New York and moved to Houston, TX.

Alan Mihlsten remembers calling this grandmother of his "Grandma Cookie" because of she baked all the time.

Possibly buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn
