    6. Benjamin Sollers (Sollas, “Saul”) Cecil, b. perhaps 1758 in Maryland, married Priscilla Boydeston about 1783. She was the daughter of James Boydston. Benjamin served under Henry Patton in the Montgomery Militia in 1781. He sold his Virginia lands in 1792 to Samuel Caddall, who married Nancy Ann Cecil, dau of John and Keziah Cecil. “Salles” Cecil was bondsman. Then in 1799he moved to Wayne Co Ky, near Tennessee. He and Priscilla are buried in the Washington Young Cemetery in Wayne Co. The names of this man’s children have yet to be reliably worked out. Did he leave a will? A likely daughter would be: (1, 2, 4)

    a. Eleanor Cecil, born 1787 Va, married Thomas Patton Jr. on 15 May 1797 in Montgomery Co Ky. “Saul” Cecil signed the marriage bond, presumably her father. In 1810 a Thomas Patton was on the Wayne Co census living next to one BSolles? Cecil, born prior to 1765. Cecil’s first name was scrawled and could have been something like Solley?? This could have been Nellie’s father but it would be good to verify in land records in Wayne Co.
