    v. Thomas Cecil. Thomas was born 3 September 1756 in Frederick County, Maryland. As a teenager he enlisted in the county militia and served in the Battle of Point Pleasant in October 1774. In 1812 he moved his family from Virginia to Miami County, Ohio. He died 20 Aug 1823 in Ohio.
    Thomas married Nancy Grayson, daughter of John and Barbara Grayson, in that part of Montgomery County that would later by Pulaski County. Nancy was born 12 August 1763 in Culpeper County, Virginia.
