Arlene A. Huber Arlene A. Huber, 83, of Dubuque, formerly of Menominee, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Steven Rosonke officiating. Burial ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Nativity BVM Cemetery, Menominee. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Egelhof, Siegert &Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road. Friends also may also call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Arlene was born on March 21, 1930, in Otter Creek, Iowa, daughter of Vince and Loretta (Barnable) Anglin. She attended St. Lawrence Catholic School and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1947. Arlene worked at Montgomery Ward for a year and then taught at Kemp School for three years. She married Vince Huber on Oct. 9, 1951, at St. Raphael's Cathedral. They farmed together for over 50 years near Menominee. Arlene taught third and fourth grade at Nativity BVM school in Menominee and worked for the Dominican Villa for 13 years before retiring. She was a member of the St. Ann Society and the Nativity BVM Mothers Club for 40 years. Surviving are her husband, Vince; five children, Lois Beyer (Gary), of Stockton, Ill., Evelyn Dolan (Paul), of Dubuque, Tom (Karen) Huber, of Orlando, Fla., John (Anne) Huber, of Menominee, and Jeff (Laura) Huber, of Menlo Park, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, Shaun (Melissa) Dolan, Erin (Nick) Sessler, Kelli Dolan, Lori Beyer, Julie (Ben) Nankee, Michael (Leanne) Beyer, Kayla Huber, Samuel Huber, Jack Huber, John Huber, Katherine (Peter) Schmidt, Max Huber and Grace Huber; seven great-grandchildren, Hailie and Zack Dolan, Thad Nankee, Hanna, Adelyn and Blake Dolan and Anneliese Sessler. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul Anglin; two sisters, Celine Burke and Grace Anglin; and grandchildren, Bobby, Kevin and Kurt Dolan.
