!CONFLICT: The surnames he was born with were Diaz Gonzales, however he may have used Diaz Ortiz, since his mother used Ortiz as her surname sometime after Antonio's birth and most of her later adult life. Also, the sex of this person is not certain. The 1891 census says female, the 1910 census says male (1910 is probably correct, and assumed so).
