- In the Name of God Amen. I ANNE MARY GABBARD of Culpeper County being sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect memory .. have thought fit to make this my last Will and Testament .. and first and principally I do recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it .. and as to those worldly goods ..
- I give and bequeath unto my beloved Grandson HENRY JONES all my whole Estate both real and personal ..
- I do hereby appoint my beloved Grandson Henry Jones whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testment ,.
- In Witness whereof this seventeenth day of December in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and sixty one

- This last Will and Testament of Anne Mary Gabbard decd was exhibited to the Court by Henry Jones the Executor therein mentioned and was proved by the oaths of witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the said Executor Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof he having taken the oath of an Executor & given Bond & Security according to Law.
