Ann Ingram was born on 23rd February 1792 and baptised the next day at Grantham in Lincolnshire, daughter of Mary Ingram, formerly Tow, and her husband John Ingram, a miller.

In the mid 1790s the family was removed under the poor laws from Grantham to the neighbouring parish of Londonthorpe. The removal order was challenged in the courts in 1795 but was held to be correct. The family does appear to have later returned to Grantham, where Ann had younger siblings baptised as late as 1800.

Ann's mother died in 1815 at Londonthorpe.

The following year, on 9th December 1816, Ann married Robert Geeson at Muston in Leicestershire, about six miles west of Grantham. At the time of their marriage she was living in Sedgebrook, a village in between Muston and Grantham.

Ann's father died in 1817 at Foston, where Ann's sister Elizabeth lived.

Ann and Robert settled in Muston after their marriage, having seven children baptised there between 1817 and 1832, although their only daughter died at the age of just ten days. The children's baptisms describe Robert as both a husbandman and labourer.

The 1841 census finds Ann, Robert and their youngest two sons living in Muston. By 1851, all their children had left home. The 1861 census finds Ann and Robert living on Hospital Row in Muston, with a ten year old grandson living with them.

Ann died at Muston on 26th May 1862, aged 70. Robert survived her by eleven years.
