  14. a widower, Andrew owns his farm free of mortgage. He has one son listedwith him, Henry. Also living there is his nephew, Hiram, along withHiram's wife, Lilly and son, Clyde
  15. "Andrew Ritter is dead at Angola at the age of eighty years."
  16. "Andrew Ritter was born in Wooster, Wayne county, Ohio, March 28, 1824;died in Angola, March 9, 1904, aged 79 years, 11 months and 11 days.Deceased spent his early boyhood at Wooster, but later removed toAshland county, Ohio. Here in February, 1850, he was united in marriagewith Eliza Winters. To this union were born three children, Henry W.,Emma, and Rezin. Of these the wife and two younger children precededhim to the other world. The son Henry and four brothers, Samuel, ofHessville, Ohio; Martin, of Newton, Kansas; Henry and Emanuel Ritter, ofSteuben county, together with many other relatives and friends are leftto mourn their loss. In 1868 he with his family removed toIndependence, Iowa, where he resided until August, 1900, when he came toAngola to live with his nephew, Hiram Ritter, in whose home he will begreatly missed. Funeral service and burial at Mt. Zion, Friday, March11, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. A. G. Neal officiating."
