According to the 1900 Census Card, Andrew was born in January, 1891, but on hes death certificate hes birthdate is listed as January 10,1892 by his wife, Lena Jensen. In 1900 Andrew lived with his family at the rear of 3039 South 18th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1907 they lived at 372 South 24th Street, and Andrew is listed as a laborer. In 1908 the family lived in the rear of 908 North 28th Street and Andrew was listed as a laborer. On November 23, 1909 Andrew Jensen, age 19 years, married Susan Nichols, age 17 years. Since both were underage, the written consents of both fathers had to be attached to the marriage license. Susan Nichols was born in Michigan. She and her parents were living in Benson, Nebraska at the time of the marriage. Her father was Truman Nichols and her mother was Zelpha Bow Nichols. The marriage was performed by the Justice of the Peace and Pete Jensen, Andrew's brother, and Mabel Nichols were there. License # 24052, Douglas County, Nebraska. Susan Nichols Jensen died November 28, 1910 and was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery (Sect L, Lot 22, G 15) in Omaha. Andrew married a lady named Lena. Their son, Eugene Jensen, worked for Metropolitan Utilities District. Andrew Jensen died on August 10, 1961 at the age of 69. His occupation was listed as a Mailer for the Newspaper. His social security # 505-05-3837. He died of an immediate heart attack. Cause of death was listed as Coronary Occlusion due to Atreriosclerosis. He had been to see his doctor on July, 31, 1961 only a few days before he died. He is buried in the Hill Crest Cemetery (Sunrise Gardens, lot 260, G 8) in Omaha.
