Ambroise DUGAST, born about 1728, a ploughman, married about 1750 to Marguerite HENRY (no parents given for either); four children listed. In 1752 He and wife and son were residents of Grande-Ascension on Isle St. Jean. On 23 Jan 1759 he and wife and two sons disembarked at St. Malo from one of the "Five ships." They resided at St. Suliac from 1759-1760. His wife died on 6 Mar 1759, and he died at the age of 32 years; buried on 23 Oct 1760 at St. Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. Their son Ambroise went to live with Alexis DUGAST [his uncle].
