Alexis and one daughter Anne-Josephe disembarked at St. Malo on 23 Jan 1759 from one of the "Five ships." [His wife and five other children had died enroute. He resided at St. Suliac from 1759-1772. He married 2nd on 2 Jun 1860 at St. Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, France to Marguerite MOYSE, daughter of Francois & Marie BRUN (see family #728). [She died less than two years later, after the birth of another daughter.] His brother's son Alexis came to live with him after his parents' deaths.
