Tombstone inscription from Find-a-Grave site: SEAMAN, Almy, wife of H. 0. Seaman, died Jan. 2, 1832, age 58 yrs There is no photo of this tombstone at Find-a-Grave.

The transcription of this cemetery at 'Cemeteries of Old Wantagh' has her d/o/d as Jan. 2, 1852, age 58 yrs. This probably is a typo and should be 2 Jan 1832 as it is at the Find-a-Grave site. This 1832 year of death makes her more nearly the same age as her husband and is consistent with her first child being born in 1790 when she was about 16 years of age.

Mrs. Bunker in her book Long Island Genealogies states that Almy was born in 1773 and died in 1852 but gives no age at death. So either Mrs. Bunker's 1852 d/o/d for Almy is a typo or the transcription that says she was 58 years old at death is a typo. See Alt d/o/d above.
