ALLEN WARNER FAMILY NOTES SENT TO WILLIAM DARRELL WARNER JR. by SHERRI STANCLIFF Research to establish the identity of, Allen Warner, the husband of Margaret Stanclift. Since he sometimes used the name Allen Jr. it seemed that the Allen we sought might be the son of this man. There is more reason to place Allen Jr in the family of Jonas, the brother of this man. ALLEN2 WARNER (Jacob') Son of Jacob and Elizabeth [Remyl Warner born KY Oct. 28, 1812, died Sept. 4, 1882,, married VIENNA CLAYTON bond dated Jun. 9, 1838 bondsman Jonas Warner,. In the 1850 Census Allen and Vienna have children Elizabeth, Reuben, Alfred and Travis in their family,. The children with the exception of Elizabeth were still living with the family in 1860,. By 1870 only Travis and Sallie were still living at home,. In 1880 there is just Allen and Vienna,, but son Travis and his family were living next door. Allen was not present in the 1900 Soundex. They lived in 1880 in Owingsville Precinct with the three oldest children, and had in their family Sallie Rauls a mulatto girl born KY 1868, a servant. Maria was the head of the family by 1900 and besides her children she had with her a boarder named Sherman Paxton (born Apr. 1879), and children George and Lucy still living at home. By 1900 Alfred and family had moved to Menifee County, KY and Thomas, Effy, Minnie and Hazle were no longer with the family, but daughter Louelen was still living with her parents.
