The later birth dates of 1816 and 1819 may have no significance, since, I have found, spouses frequently "adjusted" their reported age at marriage by several years. However, the birth location of "Tusket" may be more accurate than "Yarmouth". K. Routley

    Feb. 9, 1844, p.3.

"HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE. - We have received a letter from Mr. Alex. Vanhorn, Goose Bay, stating that his house was totally consumed by fire on Friday night last. The flames had made so much progress before being discovered, that Mr. V. had time only to save his family (7 in number), who were obliged to turn out in the snow almost destitute of clothing; and a bed was the only article of furniture that could be saved. There was no other house within a mile."

  9. One person's research suggests that Alexander died on 22 Jun 1897, about age 92, and was buried on 22 Jun 1897 in Comeau's Hill, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. I believe this is quite plausible and most likely, but sources are not provided so this information cannot be verified.
