Monday, June 25, 1934 Waco Times-Herald A. H. Hooper, 72, resident of Waco for many years, died in a local sanitarium at 4 a.m. Monday. His home was at 1916 Morrow avenue. Mr. Hooper was born in Wharton county. He was formerly a resident of Lorena for a number of years, but had been in Waco for about 34 years. During his residence here he was a conductor with the M.-K.-T. railroad and 34 years of employment with this railroad would have been completed Tuesday. He was on the Waco-Stamford run. Funeral services will be held at Compton's chapel Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and burial will be in Lorena cemetery. Rev. J. P. Love of Cameron will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be six nephews, Elkin Lawson, Joel Hooper, Horace Hooper, Claude Crow, Charles Hooper and Alex Hooper. Surviving Mr. Hooper are his widow; two brothers, Will Hooper of Waco and Claude Hooper of Lorena; two sisters, Mrs. A. B. Crow of Lacy and Mrs. Lee Lawson of Lorena. Image Gallery
