"At his residence in this city, 277 South Eighteenth Street, at 12:00 pm,June 26, 1907, Albert Krumm, aged 60 years, one month and twenty days -Albert Krumm, a member of the Franklin county bar, departed this life atnoon, Wednesday, the direct cause of his death being heart failure. Mr.Krumm had been in poor health for several months following an attack ofthe grippe during the winter. He was born in this city May 25th 1847,having celebrated his sixtieth birthday a month ago. He received aneducation in the public schools of this city, and in 1882 he beganreading law, but was compelled to relinquish his studies on account ofill health and for two years he lived on a farm, devoting all the timepossible to the outdoors. His health having been restored, he returnedto the law and 1887 was admitted to the bar. He at once becameassociated in office with his younger brother, Alexander W. Krumm, whichrelation continued to exist up into the time of his death. Mr. Krummenjoyed the confidence of his clients and the community in general. Hispractice was largely an office practice, urging his clients to settletheir differences out of court if possible, and he seldom took uplitigated matters to bring him specially prominent before the court.Mr. Krumm was very reserved and of a quiet, temperate disposition, andwhile entering forcefully into his practice, he shrank from crowdinghimself forward unnecessarily. Mr. Krumm is survived by his wife andtwo children, his son, C. S. M. Krumm, being also a member of the barand Mrs. H. R. Wilson."
