Alain BUGEAUD, born about 1725, son of Alain & Madeleine BOUDROT, a ploughman. He married about 1750 to Marie-Madeleine GRANGER, daughter of Joseph & Angelique RICHARD (family #173); two children. In 1752 he and his wife and son were residents of Riviere-du-Moulin-a-Scie [sic] on Isle St. Jean. On 23 Jan 1759 they all disembarked at St. Malo from one of the "Five ships." [Their young daughter had died during the crossing.] Alain would die within the month on 19 Feb 1759 at the age of 34 years; buried 20 Feb 1759 at St. Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine [France].
