Birth recorded in State Archives Arad, Register 42, page 34, No. 18.
Came to Canada because they were looking for farm workers. There were no quotas. Found him on the Canadian Archives. He arrived in Quebec on 3 May 1928 on the Metagama (a Canadian Pacific line). The Reference No. is RG76, the 1928 Volume 3, Page 24 on microfilm T-14741.
Quiet, rather shy man. Joseph's wife, Mary, said they lived a poor life and that he and his family were the "hillbillies" of the Keller family. The last time there was contact with him was when he and his son came to Rose Mary's wedding in 1954. It was obvious at that time that he was happy to be with his little brother, Joseph.
