Obituary

WAPAKONETA - Adam Louth, 92, of Rt. 6, Infirmary Road, died of an apparent heart attack at 5:30 this morning in his home.

Born Oct. 12, 1881, in Allen County, he was the son of the late Phillip and Melissa Carpenter Louth.

Mr. Louth was an oil well driller and was a Spanish American War veteran. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and an honorary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie E. Louth, at home; a son, Herbert Louth of East Palatka, Fla.; two sisters, Minnie Remer of St. Louis, Mo., and Harriett Patton of Spencerville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Siferd Westwood Chapel, Lima, Rev. Carl Miller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
