Abraham Ricks of Isle of Wight County to William Gay for ten pounds current money of Virginia by estimation 100 acres in Isle of Wight County described as,
“part of land granted to George Pierce deceased bounded on a branch running
out of the north side of Blackwater beginning at the foot of a Branch called the
hogpen branch at a marked gum in the fork of the branch running up to the head
of the said branch to a marked pine from thence along a new marked line to a
pond called the long pond to a gum a corner tree in William Rafords line and
from thence to the head of branch called hog path branch down the said branch
to the fork to the said gum being the first station.”
