Born on 6 Mar 1705/6 in Truro, MA.284 Anthoney ye son of Christopher and Sarah Strout was born the sixth day of march in ye year 1705/06. At the age of 6, Anthony was baptized in Truro, MA, on 26 Oct 1712.206 Buried ca 1774.

Page 102: 6. Abigail4 Small. In 1724, "Anthony Strout and Abigail Smalley both of Cape Codd were married at Cape Codd . . . by Hezekiah Doane Justice of the Peace." Anthony Strout, b. March 6, 1705-06, in Truro, was son to Christopher and Sarah (---) Strout. About 1736, Anthony removed his family to Falmouth (Cape Elizabeth), where they remained. Six children were recorded in Provincetown; others, besides David, probably were born at Falmouth.

1755) in Falmouth, Maine, Mary5 Delano, b. April 19, 1735, in Provincetown, daughter to Thomas and Sarah (---) Delano, of Cape Elizabeth, formerly of Provincetown. Mary was sister to Hannah Delano, b. Aug. 4, 1733, wife of Captain James5 Small (son to Isaac), of Cape Elizabeth and Limington. Mary Delano's sister Thankful was the wife of Samuel4 Dyer; an-other sister, Elizabeth, was the wife of James4 Dyer. Captain Daniel Strout was prominent in the town affairs of Cape Elizabeth, and held various offices. In 1777 he raised a company for military service, of which he was captain that year and the following year.

Strout" were mar. (intention Dec. 25, 1756) in Falmouth, Maine. Abigail, widow of Timothy Eldridge, was mar. June 4, 1768, to Pelatiah Fernald, of Falmouth.

Elisha5 Small, Joshua Eldridge, Jacob Waterhouse, and Pelatiah Fernald were the first four signers of the call to the meeting of the heirs of Daniel3 Small, which was held Sept. 18, 1774, at the house of Mr. Moses Shattuck, in Falmouth. Fernald also settled upon land at Limington, for which suit was brought against him by the Ossipee Proprietors. (Vide pages 47-50.)
