Settled first at Turner's Plains, but removed to Simsbury, Conn., in 1779 and later to Whitestone, N.Y., where he d. in 1812. Capt. Case was at the Lexington Alarm and was a member of the 18th Reg. of Militia which was ordered to New York, where he arrived Aug. 19, 1776. Was discharged Sept. 25, 1776. Was Captain of a company in Col. Wolcott's Brigade from April 12, to May 27, 1777.
