The James Thompson Survey Section and Land Warrants Issued by Benjamin Harrison show that 7 out of 10 people on the actual land documents were formerly of Washington Co Montgomery Co and 4 of these individuals were on the same Botetourt court books with George Teater. Example George Teators deed 1782 on the Salt River with George Buchanan Washington Co or Henry Dougherty assignee of George Teater Other charcters such as Alexander Collier John Baker all this men came the same time to Lincoln KY from the Washington Co area with George Teater and son Samuel. Also are the land transfers of George Teater to son Samuel with the certifcates signed as Virginia Land Warrants by Benjamin Harrison. I have posted below Harris extensive revisions of Summers which does detail the father George Teater the son Samuel Teater and the son George Teater were in fact all Memebers of the Washington Co Va Militia at one time. This means that George teater and Samuel the son very well detailed in Lincoln co 1779 to 1784 were in fact from Washington Co Va. Theres 18 pages of documents that prove all these men including George Teater and son came together via Washington Co and Botetourtto Lincoln Co ky

Note Willaim Thompson did go to Alexander Bealls co together with George Teater enlisted the same day. Evan Shelby was 2nd in command James Thompson here was his nephew by Willaim Thompsons son James marriage to Evans sister. Also note George Teater did run a platoon 1774 as SGT in james Thompsons Co. The deeds and warrants show George Teator singed his name as !!George T Teater!!. Each reader will have to go to this site until each of these original documnts are finished being transcribed and translated. There are enough clear pages that can be read. These records more than prove that George teater and the people listed with him are from Washington Co Were stationed in Washington Co or had a action in Botetourt before the formation of Washington Co Va just add teator to the tittle search and read the origianl images.
