Notes

The Greenberg family used the name "Bucharestianu", a popular name in Rumania because of the anti-semitism. However, it has been said that it may originally have been Bucharestianu and may have been changed at Ellis Island to Greenberg. The Greenbergs came from the same area in Rumania as the Isensteins. All of Rebecca's 10 children were born in Europe. Of her 10 children, the first to arrive in Los Angeles were Harry and Manny in about 1908 or 1909.
