Family:William Shreve and Unknown (2)

There is no documentation that such a family ever existed. Attempts to verify have come up negative. This appears to be part of a romantic myth circulated among Shreve family members in the nineteenth century. It is interesting that this is proposed as the family of Thomas Sheriff, who is assigned a birth date only a few years after that of his purported parents.
