The siblings Merriam are deduced from the wills of Robert Merriam and his wife Mary. See the transcription of The Merriam Family and Connections (NEHGR, 1868) from which is derived at least these children of William Merriam:

  1. Robert, b abt 1609 (age 72 at his 1681 death)
  2. Joan, m. Day; d. by Dec 1681; had son Isaac Day
  3. Joseph (d. 1641)
  4. George (d 1675)
  5. possibly a sister who married John Buss (or this could be a dau of one of his brothers)
  6. possibly a sister who married John Hubbard

Further information was found by the same author in Origins of the Merriams and other Concord Families (NEHGR, 1870).

Subsequent research found the full will of William Merriam (see NEHGR 50:506-7), from which can be derived the following children of William:
