Family History

Thomas Overton and Elizabeth Smith were married on 23 November 1732 in the parish of Stenigot, Lincolnshire, England.[1][2] It is not known without a doubt that this couple is the same Thomas and Elizabeth whose children were baptized in the parish of Bardney beginning in 1741, but this couple disappear from the Stenigot registers after the baptism of their first son in 1735. A search of marriage records has not yielded anything more likely for the Bardney couple than this marriage in Stenigot.
