They had a dau Connie Lee McLuen that was b. 11/8/1911 and d. 11/18/1918. They also had a son Wilbert D. McLuen, b. 2/9/1910, d. 4/1981 in Des Moines IA, m. Dorothy Arlene McLuen, b. 1912, d. 2004 just a month short of her 92d birthday. She was born in a farm home north of Panora Iowa.
Dorothy Arlene McLuen, Des Moines, Obit. Dorothy Arelene [Arlene] McLuen died in her sleep at home on June 9th, just a month short of her 92nd birthday. Born in a farm home north of Panora, Iowa, Dorothy blossomed when she and her husband Mac moved to Des Moines in 1947. Dorothy, who was active in Eastern Star, retired from Drake University. She loved gardening, feeding her birds, playing bridge and painting, which she took up around the age of 70. She leaves behind her son Michael (Carla); her grandchildren Nicole and Justin (Heather); and her great grandson's Griffin and Rubin. There will be a gathering of friends and family to celebrate Dorothy's life on Sunday June 13 between 11 to 2 p.m. at her home.
