Oliver Francis Conklin, son of Oliver and Elizabeth (Treasure) Conklin was born on 29 August 1869 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is usually found in records as Frank. Frank was an inventor and electrician. He worked in manufacturing and product development. Family records show that he married twice. He first married Lulu Earle in Tyler, Texas on 26 May 1891 . His second wife was Mary Mahew. Family records show that Oliver died in 1937. He may have died in Dayton, Ohio. The 1910 census shows him living in Springfield (Clark County), Ohio with his wife, Mary L., sister, Mary Sibbett and her children. He may be the Oliver F. Conklin who filed for divorce in Hamilton County, Ohio in 1923. Frank was an inventor. The family reports that he was very rich and somewhat eccentric. He is said to have owned a Pierce Arrow with a bed and cookstove in it.
