Therefore, in 1990, we examined and rejected suggestions that Michael's wife was Ann Adams or Ann Buck. Now, in 1997, in the History of the Griswold Family Association, (p.17) is the hypothesis that her surname was Stocking, Hurlburt or Woolcott. There is no reference and the last surname, at least, seems highly improbable as 111.Matthew's12 wife was Anna Wolcott, daughter of Henry.'
