Lucien Stephen Peyre de Ferry, son of Peter Peyre Ferry, was born October 3, 1811 in Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio.S2,S3 Lucien was a lawyer and was a Probate Judge from 1837 to 1839. Lucien was elected a member in Indiana House of Representatives in 1843. Lucien married Caroline Therese Bourie on August 30, 1831 in Allen County, Indiana. Lucien died August 20, 1844 in Fort Wayne and is buried in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. Lucien was a reported to be an Episcopalian, although others thought he was Catholic like his son.
