Muchow-Moses The marriage of Marie Muchow and Lawrence Moses was solemnized in St. Patrick's church, Monona, Iowa, on Tuesday morning, Oct. 7, 1930, at 7 o'clock. The Rev. Father Donlon officiating. The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Muchow of Postville, was dressed in nile green figured chiffon georgette. Her bridesmaid, Lillian Wells, was also dressed in dark green figured flat crepe. The bridegroom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Moses, on route 3, Monona, was attended by Wray Brown. In the evening, a Shower was given for the young couple in the city hall here. Friends presented them with gifts and the evening was greatly enjoyed in card playing, with a lunch at a late hour. Mr. and Mrs. Moses will make their home on the John Moses farm, where they take the best wishes of a host of friends with them. |
