  1.   Josephine died due to injuries from accident that involved a horse and buggy with a car.

    A neighbor of Joseph Theusch's (Blanch Povlitzki)mentioned to me, in April 1979, that she thought Josephine was pregnant and that her baby died and was buried in her arms. Another person who also knew Joseph and Josephine couldn't remember. I wrote to the priest at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Geneseo, Sargent, North Dakota, and to see if there were any records regarding the infant. He replied that he nothing was mentioned in the record book.
