John Mullin/Millin arrived in Bear River NS from Scotland, married Mary Jane Ross, then moved to New Brunswick (Sunbury Co, and Carleton Co.) Children all born in NB.

In 1886 after "Janie" (his wife, Mary Jane) died he moved to Lewiston ME to live with his daughter Annie (and Ambrose) Walton. There he met Hannah Shaw (originally from Carlton co NB) and married her.

He became a US citizen in 1900. He died after 1902? (letter from Donald Millin, 1966)
