Oswego Palladium-Times, 16 Dec 1944: MARRIED In New York City, Nov. 9, Pvt. Evelyn Hoxie, WAC, formerly of Fulton, to Cpl. George C. Coppage Jr., Owensboro KY

Fulton Patriot, 14 Dec 1944: FORMER FULTONIAN WEDS Mr. and Mrs. Earl Veyette of Chester PA, formerly of Fulton, announce the marriage of their daughter Pvt. Evelyn Hoxie to Corp. George C. Coppage Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Coppage of Owensboro KY. The double ring ceremony was performed Nov. 9 in the Little Church Around the Corner, New York City, by Rev. Randolph Ray. Attendants were Pvt. Mary McConnell and Staff Sgt. William Griffiths. Pvt. Hoxie attended school in Fulton and Michigan and was a member of Pi Tau sorority. Before enlisting in the WAC last February she was employed at the Oswego Falls Corporation. Corp. Coppage attended Owensboro school and was a printer before enlisting in 1942. Both are stationed at the New York port of embarkation.

Troy Times Record, 11 Oct 1949: DECREE GRANTED Supreme Court Justice Harry E. Srhirick has signed an annulment deeree in favor of Mrs. Evelyn Coppage of Troy and against George C . Coppage Jr., of Owensboro, Ky. The couple was married in 1944 In New York City. The custody of the couple's one child was granted to Mrs. Coppage
