!MARRIAGE: Civil registration of marriage in Coamo, Puerto Rico; FHL Microfilm # 1,855,530, Item # 5, Book # 4, Marriages 1902 - 1907, Page 230 (back), Record # 67; NOTES: Federico and Julia were married in Coamo, Puerto Rico, on 22 July, 1906, by a Baptist minister, Leroy E. Troyer, of Coamo Baptist Church. Witnesses were Angel Acebedo Ruiz and Alejo Colon. Federico was 51 years of age when married to Julia and she was 50 years old. Federico's parents are listed as Marcos Bernier and Carmen Giraud. The record states that Federico was a widower and his deceased wife's name was Lucia Giraud. Federico and Lucia had a son named Federico who is 24 years of age, and resides in Coamo. The records says that Julia Colon has always been single. The marriage was registered with Coamo civil authorities on 23 July, 1906. (The name Alejandra Colon is shown to be her mother in this record.
