  1.   His wife is sometimes identified as Mary Bartholomew (e.g., Source:Berry, Brian J. L. Yankee Heritage : A Sisson Ancestry), which is attractive given the eldest son named Bartholomew. However, no record of the marriage has been found, nor any documentary evidence.
  2.   Source:Connecticut, United States. Barbour Collection of Connecticut Town Vital Records, "Pomfret Vital Records", p. 66-7, appears to list other children of Andrew and Mary, but the records have several errors that suggest more research is needed. They list:
Elisha, s. Andrew & Mary, b. June 6, 1765 [father had died, one month after wife remarried, is year mistranscribed?]
Pruda, s. Andrew & Mary, b. Oct. 29, 1751 [History of Waitsfield, see below, gives this as Persis]
Salley, d. Andrew & Sarah, b. Nov. 17, 1760 [assume mother should be Mary?]
Sarah, d. Andrew & Sarah, b. Jan. 26, 1756 [assume mother should be Mary?]
Sarah, d. Andrew & Mary, d. Jan. 19, 1758 [mother is Mary, here]

Source:Jones, Matt Bushnell. History of the Town of Waitsfield, Vermont, 1782-1908, p. 298, attributes all these records to Andrew and Mary, except that Pruda [Prudence?] is called Persis, and Elisha is not included. Persis may have been inadvertently copied from the unrelated birth record one line above? This source also adds a daughter Mary, bapt. 17 Jul 1743. This is a secondary source and does not indicate the source of its information. No birth record seems to exist for Mary, and the church records haven't been investigated.

Source:Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut, United States. Vital Records of Woodstock, 1686-1854, p. 289, shows the intentions of Isaac Johnson and Mary Durke on 15 Oct 1748. Source:Johnson, Paul Franklin. Genealogy of Captain John Johnson of Roxbury, Massachusetts, p. 58, identifies this as "Mary (Bartholomew-Durkee) daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Sanger) Bartholomew; widow of Andrew Durkee", and attributes 4 children to them [first two of these found in Woodstock, next two of these found in Ashford] whose births overlap with the children mentioned above. This same identification is also found in Source:Bowen, Clarence Winthrop. History of Woodstock, Connecticut, Vol. 7, p. 58. However, it appears to be an incorrect identification of the Mary Durke who married Isaac Johnson, based on information from Andrew's probate that is cited on his page, and it may be his half-sister, not his widow, who m. Isaac Johnson.
