MySources, also called "personal sources", are sources of a personal, rather than general, interest, such as birth certificates, family bibles, and other family documents.

• Link to personal sources on person and family pages, without re-entering reference information.

Getting started

Try creating a MySource page for a personal source (your grandparents' marriage certificate, maybe?).

1. Click on the blue Wiki tab at the top of the screen.
2. Click on "Sources".
3. In the Title: field under the Personal Sources heading, enter the name of the source.
4. Click "Add new page".
5. Fill out the edit boxes with source information.
6. Click "Save page".
