Error importing Osborne Family tree.ged [15 September 2007]

We had an error while attempting to import Osborne Family tree.ged. This is most likely our fault. We will review the error and should have your pages ready tomorrow (or Monday if tomorrow falls on a weekend). There is no need to re-import your GEDCOM file.

I just want to apologize for the delay in getting your GEDCOM imported. The problem has been fixed, so similar future GEDCOM uploads should not have the same problem. Thanks for using WeRelate! -Nathan 12:21, 26 September 2007 (EDT)

Why are you changing details on my family tree--Spookie121 15:52, 18 November 2011 (EST)

Hello, It may be because I noticed some names that were in "all caps" and changed them to standard text per WeRelate guidelines. --Susan Irish 16:57, 18 November 2011 (EST)

"Your" family tree [18 November 2011]

On WeRelate, there is no such thing as "your" family tree. This is a unified tree built by collaboration. Nobody owns any page, and any user may change any page that they can make a positive contribution to, whether they are a direct descendant, a very distant relative, or completely unrelated. The benefits of contributing to WeRelate is in large part exactly the community review and collaboration, as it often happens that other researchers have access to different sources, and the net result is better than any single researcher could do by themselves. --Jrich 17:04, 18 November 2011 (EST)
