Hello and welcome to the WeRelate virtual genealogical community. Together we can build a community website where we can learn from each other, work together and find what we need to make our research easier, more rewarding and fun.
[add comment] [edit] How to create a homepageIf you would like to create a homepage:
[add comment] [edit] Surname in PlaceSurname in Place pages are like message boards, but editable and organized. New information and answers to questions can be added anywhere on the page. Use only the surname and a state or country in the title. You can create a header for individuals and families on the page itself. See Phillips in Texas. You can click on edit button on to see how to create the headers for Phillips in Texas. [add comment] [edit] Personal ResearchPersonal Research pages are password protected. These pages can be viewed by all but only you can write on them. They are a great place to store your research notes, to do list and transcriptions of historical documents. These can have any title you choose. [add comment] [edit] TextThe third text box is for your homepage information. What ever you would like to tell the world about yourself and your research. Have fun and welcome to our virtual genealogical community. [add comment] [edit] How to create ancestor pagesWeRelate now has ancestor page templates that automatically create person and family pages. Just fill in the blanks. Go to Ella Grey and Family:Daniel and Ella Grey (1). You can even annotate your pictures so that when the cursor goes across people's faces, their names and info pops up, see family picture. Select Go to/Add page enter Person:Given Surname of ancestor, select Add page and fill in the blanks. Have fun! If you have any questions or comments please email me. Again thank you for participation.--sq 23:15, 15 November 2006 (MST) |
