thanks for deleting the non-conforming places. I assumed when I first started looking at them that the system was forcing me to "add" something for each place so each would have a match. I'm still learning the process.--Purplelem 07:33, 14 May 2010 (EDT)

Next step: Review your GEDCOM [13 May 2010]

You're not done yet!

WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded partial.ged, your next step is to review what your pages will look like, review any potential warnings, and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. You need to review your GEDCOM before it can finish importing.

Note: if your gedcom contains many errors or multiple families, we’d ask that you resolve and correct the errors, delete this gedcom and re-submit it without the errors before merging it with families already on WeRelate. If the gedcom is very large, we’d suggest breaking it up into separate lines and importing them one at a time, which makes the review and correction process easier.

Click here to review your GEDCOM

Once you have finished your review and marked your GEDCOM Ready to import, one of our administrators will review your GEDCOM and finalize the import. This usually happens within 24 hours. You will receive a message here when the pages have been created.

Place names [13 May 2010]

Hi, I am a volunteer admin. It's my job to help people learn the system and patrol new pages. I noticed that you created several place pages. We have limited memory. Place pages are reserved for cemeteries, and jurisdictions. If you are unsure of the location of a particular event. List the first option as the place and the second as an alternative. I'm sorry, but I had to delete nonconforming pages. Please leave me a message if you have any questions.--sq 23:04, 13 May 2010 (EDT)

Centenary United Methodist Church [16 May 2010]

Hello, I am a volunteer admin here at WeRelate. I noticed that you created a page titled: Place:Centenary United Methodist Church, Mount Ulla, Rowan, North Carolina, United States. We allow place pages for towns, counties, states, countries, etc and cemeteries. We do not allow place pages for churches, hospitals, addresses, etc.

I am wondering if this page is meant to be the Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Ulla, Rowan, North Carolina, United States. The two pages that link here are Person:Wilson White (3) and Person:Daisy Johnson (8), both of which list this as their burial location. You also have a Place:Centenary Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Ulla, Rowan, North Carolina, United States that may be the same place.

Please let me know if Place:Centenary United Methodist Church, Mount Ulla, Rowan, North Carolina, United States is a church or a cemetery. If it is a church, I will need to delete the page. Thank you, --Jennifer (JBS66) 08:35, 16 May 2010 (EDT)

Thanks for your help. Yes, Centenary United Methodist Church is indeed a cemetery and is the same place as Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery.--Purplelem 13:57, 16 May 2010 (EDT)

Thanks for your reply. I edited the two person pages to link them to the existing Place:Centenary Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Ulla, Rowan, North Carolina, United States page. I also deleted the Church place page. --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:05, 16 May 2010 (EDT)
