Mary Machurick [20 December 2012]

Maryanna Kulawiak Walczak Machurick [28 December 2012]

Kazimierz Walczak 1870-1922 & Maryanna Kulawiak 1880-1938 were married July 7, 1896 in Chicago, Illinois (found marriage certificate on familysearch.org). They had 6 children as far as I can find: Francis Casimir 1899-1961(my grandfather), Agnes 1906-?, Boleslaw 1908-?, Valaria 1910-?, Joseph 1916-? & Sophia 1918-?.

Maryanna's parents were Vincent Kulawiak born 1848 in Odrowaz, Poland and died 1925 I believe in Chicago. Her mother was Teckla Rafacz born 1856 in Pniaskowice, Poland. They had 7 children with Maryanna their 2nd born. When Kazimierz filed for naturalization (familysearch.org), he listed Vincent Kulawiak as a witness.

My grandparents had 4 sons, my father being the youngest. I have only one uncle still living and remembers Maryanna but his memory is fading. One story I was told was that John was gored by a bull that caused his death but I am not able to verify the story. Unfortunately I do not have any photos of my great grand parents but I do have a photo of my grandfather and a photo of Vincent Kulawiak whom is Maryanna's brother.
